This is a fun activity that has students determining the total cost of having a Thanksgiving dinner. Students will calculate the unit price of 8 Thanksgiving food items to determine the best buy. After students determine the best buy, they will calculate the total cost that they are spending on their Thanksgiving dinner. This is a perfect activity for any class learning about unit rates and is great individually or in groups of 2.
